Hello, friends, new and old!
Time is running out to submit your programming submission to be considered for inclusion at MISTI-Con 2017!
As our prior attendees know, and as we can't wait for new attendees to find out, MISTI-Con is an entirely fan-generated con, and that means it can't happen without you!. Whether you've got a paper to present, a round table discussion to lead, a workshop to orchestrate, a skill to show off, or a meet-up to organize, it all starts by taking that brave step and submitting it to our programming team.
If you're new to MISTI-Con, presenting can be a great way to dive right in and meet new people. If you're returning, we know that you leave each con filled to the brim with ideas of what you'd like to explore next, so make sure you take the opportunity to share them!
That's an excellent question and we're glad you asked!
Step 1: Start with our presentation guidelines & proposal preparation information. They give you a brief overview on the different types of programming, the format in which presentations are presented at MISTI, and basic rules and guidelines.
Step 2: Take a peek at the "Exemplary Example Submission". It can be used as template for your proposal to help minimize your formatting time as well as our review time when selecting panels.
Step 3: Submit your panel by November 30th! Mentioning it on Facebook or Twitter does not count. The only way to have your submission considered for inclusion at MISTI-Con 2017 is to submit through the above link!
That is all there is too it! Remember, MISTI-Con is known for having one of the best programming tracks around and we can't do that with out all of you submitting and participating. Please help us create the con that you want to attend by being part of the magic.
